We took Day 3 a lot slower. We all slept in until late and then enjoyed a slow morning. We rented some mountain bikes before lunch time and explored some of town. It was REALLY hot, but we really enjoyed exploring. We were quite the site – my youngest was on an extended 2-seater bike with me. Our oldest started feeling sick about half way through, so we turned around back to the hotel, only for our daughter to get a flat about a mile from the hotel! No problem for her: “Tuk tuk!”
That evening, we caught a tuk tuk down to the ATV shop and rented 3 ATVs and a tour guide to show us the rice paddies and to capture some sunset photos. This was probably my favorite experience there! The ATVs were a blast, but being able to go through the villages and see the sunset was amazing. HIGHLY recommend this! (as would my oldest son who got to drive for the first time)…
We grabbed some dinner downtown again, and then my oldest and I got a foot massage while everyone else shopped.
Awesome Day 3!
