We met up with our tour guide and driver again on Day 4 and decided to do a horseback tour in the morning to avoid the terrific afternoon heat. This was the first time for our kids on horses and they really enjoyed it. Their favorite was trotting along.
We then drove about 45 mins south to a HUGE lake that is home to many Vietnamese that live on the lake. We took a slow boat out into the lake and saw how these people live. We also played with their snake!
Very humble living circumstances and probably 105 degrees.
We stopped by a Lotus Flower “farm” and walked through the fields as well as ate the seeds. Our daughter loved the seeds – the rest of us…so, so.
Because the temperature was nearing the melting point of steel, we went back to the hotel and spent the late afternoon by the pool.
That night we grabbed some dinner by the night market and watched some crazy Cambodian massage girls chase every single guy that walked by. They were overly aggressive. Sad to see.
